Course Contents (15 hours)

Starting the fully blended language course

3 hours - Presentation of the course, review of the main concepts of DLT 1, evaluating learner needs and level, designing the course and the lesson plans

Motivation and advanced coaching

3 hours - Recognising learner profiles, managing difficult learners, managing several learners at once, managing objects at the beginning, during and at the end of the course, managing emotions

Videoconferencing​ and Digital Tools

3 hours - Using digital tools(Google Suite, LearninApps, …) in videoconferencing lessons on the platform of your choice (Teams, Zoom, Whereby, Adobe, etc.)

Technical management of Videoconferencing Lessons

3 hours - Managing technical problems, managing groups, applying rules, time management, using advanced technical skills such as remote control

Ending the course

3 hours - Programme adjustment, preparing for end of course tests and certifications, end of course evaluation, evaluating by modality

Timeline

A 5-week course of 15 hours:

  • 7.5 hours (5 X 1.5 lessons) of group sessions
  • 5 hours of online content
  • 2.5 hours of preparation

Next session starts 15th December 2022:

  • Access to platform opens 13th December
  • Session 1 with Louise on 20nd December from 9:00 to 10:30 
  • Session 2 with Ian on 5th January 2023 from 9:00 to 10:30 
  • Session 3 with Richard on 12th January 2023 from 9:00 to 10:30 
  • Session 4 with Richard on 19th January 2023 from 9:00 to 10:30 
  • Session 5 and end of training with Louise on 26th January 2023 from 9:00 to 10:30
